Wheelchair or No Wheelchair?

Since my stupid injury/surgery I do have a tough time getting around. The question is, am I going to be better off renting a wheelchair? Here is the site with details about renting ($12/day) and here is a site with all of the ride details necessary (where to enter, etc. with a wheelchair). If I decide to do the wheelchair thing I will print and take that information.

Hotel

We are staying at America's Best Value Inn & Suites. I got a great AAA rate and we will have a suite. Two rooms with three beds for only $73/night (average pre-tax). The reviews at Trip Advisor are actually really good. They say don't expect a resort hotel, but the rooms are clean and spacious. There is a continental breakfast and a larger than average hotel fridge and microwave. I'm slightly nervous but hopefully it will work out.

Change of Plans

Okay, still going - but now we'll go Feb 26-Mar 4.

No Splash Mountain. Still will be a blast!!

Noooooooo

Splash Mountain closed from January through May???? Say it isn't so! As one poster in a Disney forum said, "30% of the happiness at Disneyland comes from Splash Mountain." So, I'm possibly 30% less excited about the trip.... To go? Or, to wait?

California, Here We Come!

Looks like we're going to Disneyland! It's been a few years, so the time is right. We're inviting Canada to come with us. The person, not the country. Cause - I don't think they'd fit.

We'll be driving to CA sometime mid-February.
